Polly Want A Cracker/Rice Cake?

Solomon paints a pumpkin at daycare. There was a neighborhood parade for Halloween. Due to cruddy weather, the parade ended up indoors at the rec center. Solomon was quite a sport, since it was smack in the middle of his nap time. Baby Gabe, the dragon, was fierce competition. Regardless, The Boy earned an honorable mention. They had to send a fellow neighbor to the house with the prize for "the pirate and her parrot," because the judges didn't know us and we left early (remember - nap time). The prize? A junior slinky (suitable for ages 5 and up).

Do pirates eat rice cakes?? Blackbeard seems like the kind of guy who would enjoy them!

Pay attention, JD. The parrot, not the pirate, is eating the rice cake. Don't they teach you any better at Ball State? Good luck in your football game this weekend (ha!).

Why does Ball State play Michigan? We are having a prayer vigil here on campus in hopes that all of our players will return alive. Hopefully the score doesn't skyrocket into triple digits!
