Brush-a-brush-a-brush-a

Since Solomon has four (count them, 1, 2, 3, 4) teeth, we have to keep them clean and shiny. He's mostly cooperative. I've been motivating him with photos from the Big Book of British Smiles.

Party On, Dude

A few days after the fact, Solomon had his birthday party. Friends and family helped celebrate. Nany gave Solomon the piano, which he loves. Somehow, we didn't get a picture of her at the party. Sorry, Nany.Solomon was showered with generosity and squealed his approval. The Boy might be a little too comfortable in the spotlight. It took a while for Solomon to warm up to the carrot cake. The crown seemed to help. I should have served him Thai curry.

Mystery Gift

We are embarrassed to say that we don't know who sent this gift. In the excitement, we threw away the shipping papers. With the most humble of attitudes we ask, if you sent this, please let us know so we can give you a proper thanks. Solomon loves climbing it, but can't quite balance on it yet. We'll keep working on it, as it's in his blood to be a motorcyclist.

My Valentines

Who could ask for better?

One!

Solomon celebrates. He'd also like to point out that it's Lincoln's birthday, too. Of course, Solomon doesn't remember a year back (perhaps because he was sleeping through it), but Ma does. Heck, by this time of the day it was all giggles.
The Boy has the requisite supplies for a birthday: balloon (Trader Joe's) and present (a Bible for his grandparents). Cake comes at the party this weekend.

Narcissus?

Solomon loves meeting The Boy in the mirror, who somehow appears each time he looks. It's another thing altogether to be in love with him.

Practice

Solomon practices clapping.

Cleaning up a spill.
His growl.
