Two To The Zoo

Solomon, Penny, Shellin, and Mommy go to the zoo. Solomon likes the monkeys, and acts like one, too. "Monkey has ball." (Note red ball in left of photo.) Penny rides in style, yet still finds the whole thing exhausting.
Why is it that we drive all the way to Toledo and Solomon's favorite exhibit is the playground? Here, he explores the "beaver dam." Over and over. Yes, Solomon, you are approximately the same height as a Scarlet Macaw. By the way, it's hard to explain the difference between a parrot and a macaw to a 2-year old.
Below, Solomon does some light reading about gorillas. This will turn out to be important knowledge.
This silverback gorilla is ginormous. Solomon waves and says, "Hi, Gorilla!" Gorilla surveys his surroundings, but does not reply.

Outside

Now that the weather is cooperating, we are getting out for our fun. Not that hauling purses and keys through the living room into the kitchen isn't a barrel of monkeys...
Mad skills in baseball, basketball, and football. That Shellin, she's hilarious. Does this flower make me look fat?
