Solomon is gaining better control of his hands/bonkers. He doesn’t reach for toys yet, but he routinely gets his hands to his mouth. I’m not sure if he’ll be a thumb sucker. Right now, he is a whole-fist sucker. I have a cousin we call “Cave-In-The-Face” for his ability to open his mouth impossibly wide. Perhaps Solomon is just keeping with family traits. Could be once he unclenches his grabbers, the thumb will just pop in. In the mean time, we get lots of photos like these.
I’ve been meaning to plant flowers for a month now. Last week I made a big step in the right direction when I bought a flat of annuals. It’s a miracle they didn’t shrivel up dead waiting for me. After his lunch today, I took Solomon outside and laid him on a sheet in the shade so I could uproot the mini maple trees and plant the flowers. Solomon was snoozing for a while, but soon enough, Daddy returned from his haircut and made it playtime.
