Separation Anxiety - Mine!

About a month ago I registered for a full-day seminar because I need the continuing education credits. The first way I imagined the day, I booked a room and had Nany stay with Solomon at the hotel so I could still nurse him. Realizing that this was perhaps a tad insane, I settled on having Nany and The Boy meet us at lunch and I’d nurse him then and at the afternoon break. I fought the notion that this was well over the line into nutty first-time mother behavior. In the end, I made peace with being away from Solomon for eight hours. I think it was the saddest peace ever. Nany watched Solomon at the house and I took the pump to the Holiday Inn. Of course Solomon was more than fine. He slept, ate, and played just as he does every day. Mili accidentally got left in the yard for an hour, but she was fine, too. It’s good to know I can survive such a long separation, even if I don’t like it.
These photos have little to do with my day away. Actually, they have nothing to do with it since I took them a day or two ago. Having been gone all day, I didn't get a chance to get new pictures. I felt a bit guilty about missing a day of documentation. It's a good thing I go so hog-wild with the camera on other days so that I have extras for today's post.
